Objectives
- Identify, design, implement and evaluate programmes for economic and social empowerment of Sri Lankan women.
- Support women across all strata to become stakeholders in the country's development.
- Implement programs to overcome gender based constraints faced by women.
- Implement special programs for women who face numerous difficulties owing to social constraints.
- Implement programs to upgrade knowledge, skills and attitudes of women.
- Organise women in a single network ranging from community level to national level and facilitate their smooth functioning in the same.
